ABOUT DR KARAN DHAWAN

The Journey

Dr Karan Dhawan is a Gold Medalist in M.D PSYCHIATRY from the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. He was the Best outgoing Post Graduate in Karnataka for the year 2018. He has won many State level Awards in Paper Presentation.

He aims to provide best private psychiatry services in Punjab, Haryana and Himachal region. He hails from the town Jagadhri in Haryana  and always wanted to cater the surrounding states as well, therefore chose to shift to a more accessible location and has been practicing in Mohali since 2018. He has worked at Ivy Hospital Mohali and due to his interest in deaddiction field he is currently working at Aakash Hospital.

He feels that in our region the stigma towards seeking professional help regarding psychiatric issues is still very high and he aspires to create maximum awareness about it. In his efforts to  reduce this stigma  he conducts regular mental health awareness talks in schools, Colleges and other IT firms.

  His Areas of interest are De-addiction, Mood Disorders, Marital Discord and Sexual Medicine.
