Service Description
A patient after due work up if diagnosed with a psychiatric illness invariably needs medication. Depending upon the symptom severity and type of psychiatric illness the patient is prescribed a medication. These medications act on certain specific receptors and areas in the brain where the chemicals are imbalanced and help to restore the balance just like before. Once the patient comes to a positive frame of mind after the medication starts working (within 5-7 days some effect of medication begins) then the process of counselling and rehabilitation begins.
